Black Belt's primary role is to apply the methodologies in project execution.  They receive extensive trainings of up to 25 days. But it is not the training that makes them experts. It is the project work that gives them golden skills. Without projects, Black Belt is just a wasted investment. Black Belt should be 100% dedicated to work on Six Sigma projects. Failure to meet this criterion is fatal and it leads to half hearted Six Sigma programs with only mild results.

  • Project managers or process improvement experts
  • Six Sigma program managers, deployment leaders
  • Future Six Sigma trainers, coaches or mentors

How does it work?

  • Candidates are selected according to criteria. This is the first very important step and we support you to have the right people on board
  • Each candidate must define and scope an improvement activity. This is the second must step and we give you full guidance to do it properly
  • Training is provided to candidates in four modules. All candidates apply learned techniques already during the training in their improvement projects
  • Between the modules of the trainings candidates continue to work on projects, e.g. collecting the data
  • Candidates are tested with a rigorous test at the end of the training
  • Candidates finish improvement projects. To do so, support is strongly advised in form of coaching or mentoring

  • Implement short term and long term solutions, sustain the improvement

  • 16 days of training divided in four modules: 4 x 4 days
